Hackers

The other day i was attacked by a group of hackers, after i got off the server, someone logged in with my name and oped his friends, then, they banned everyone else and screwed around on the server. Everytime i would ban one of them, another would unban him/her, but what i did was stop the server, started it up on a different world, then when thay all got oni opened the ops notepad file and wiped their names from it then reloaded the server. that deoped them all then i just banned them one at a time. To prevent this from ever happening agian, a installed a plugin called iplock, it lets me lock my ip so anyone who wants to log in with my name can only do it from my pc, so sucks for you hackers!

Skype!

I have gotten Skype! So now i can say i have it, but i dont have a mic so woopdedo.

SkyBlock

People have complainded that they are bored when not playing HG, so I am adding a new plugin called SkyblockMultiplayer, this plugin creates a new world with just a tower in the middle and players spawn on this tower when they use the command /skyblock join. Once on the tower the players must use the command /skyblock start, this command gives the player their own island and spawns the player on it. Each island has a chest with items that can be changed in the config file and a tree. If a player loses something important they can redo their island by first typeing /skyblock tower, this command places a player back on the tower, after that the player can use the command /skyblock newisland which deletes their old island and replaces it with a new island. There are 2 modes, build and pvp, build lets players connect there islands and help each other, pvp lets player capture other players islands to expand there own island. Thats all for now, server will most likely not be up today T_T.

Server redo

My server went through a major redo as it is now a Hunger Games only server, im looking for 2 things, a new HG arena, and a VIP plugin for bukkit. I have been asked what plugins i use and they are:

Those are all my plugins, but the Survival Games are haveing problems that the developers are fixing so kinda ok there, thats all for now, my server is up so im on it.

Redstone

I got this really nice mod awhile ago called vertical redstone, the purpose is in the title, but if you dont get it, it lets you put redstone up walls like the wall is the floor. This mods works very well, but has one major drawback. The Vertical Redstone mod DELETES any and ALL redstone already made once it is installed, this means that if you download a world with realy cool redstone stuff inside then all the redstone needs to be redone. Now im rethinking this mod cause i cant play some realy nice worlds now. Thats all for now, other than ive started makeing a city to place in my server which will be shown later. ~Sypher aka Rinzler

Update

Im sorry to say, the Guns+ plugin did not work and only ended up messing up the rest of my plugins. But Im happy to say the Survival Games plugin was updated and now has new fetures and some major problems were fixed. I recommend this plugin for anyone who runs a Hunger Games server as the whole thing is fully automated, the chests are emptyed and refilled and the players are held in the start holes untill the game starts. Other plugins i recommend are EssintelsGroupManager, SimpleWarp, and Multiverse-Core. Multiverse is a great plugin as it can bind serveral worlds together so you can import worlds that you downloaded or made your self, I recommend useing GroupManager with the Multiverse plugin as it lets you change the groups and permissions for each world you have. Hello!

This is my first blog so be prepared for some inexperince.

The purpose of this blog is to:
1. Get help for any server problems I have and broadcast my server to get more people to join
2. Give help for any server problems with plugins i have and/or used at one time
3. Get help on what i can do to improve my server

The plugins I can help with right now are:

-GroupManager: used for permissions
-Weapons_Of_Legand

Thats all i can help with for now, right now im worling on a new plugin called Guns+ and ill give you one guess as to what that does. Thats all i have right now other than my server ip is: 99.9.64.192:25565 and it is not up all day, but im working on that. Thats all for now, want to work on this new plugin.
